"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and cared for. Edwin, who maintains the property, went above and beyond to assist us—helping with luggage and ensuring everything was perfect. His helpfulness and friendly attitude truly added to our experience.The house itself was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, making it incredibly romantic and cozy for the two of us. Stepping out the back sliding glass door, we were greeted with an breathtaking ocean view—simply stunning. The property features a good-sized pool, a charming palapa with hammocks, and the option for a private couples massage with the ocean as your backdrop, all of which made our stay just perfect.We also felt completely safe throughout our visit. The full-sized kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and Edwin was quick to respond when we requested a grill, which was spotless and ready for use.While the dirt road to the house was a bit rough, and the seaweed season was challenging, those were minor inconveniences and in no way detracted from the overall experience. We absolutely loved this property and would be thrilled to return for a longer stay. Thank you for creating such a memorable and idyllic getaway!"

"We had a wonderful time at Casa Tortuga! Perfect location and space for our 10 guests ranging from ages 15-45. Samuel and Marisola are angels from heaven that made our stay very memorable and special!! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and had great family connection time. Every meal was delicious and the housekeeping made it a very relaxing trip!There are many nearby Cenotes and ruins that are worth visiting.We will definitely come back but not in sargasso season! "

"My girlfriend (friend/colleague/travel buddy) and I stayed at Hotel Mereva during the off-season and absolutely loved it. The hospitality was next level—Erik and Dalia at the front desk were always kind, helpful, and made getting around super easy. The staff, including Felipe, Aaron, Luis, Santos, and Gabriel, were so genuine and warm—it felt like being among friends. The food was unreal. Shrimp tacos, forest pizza, and the heirloom tomato with burrata were top tier. Happy hour had the best 2-for-1 margaritas of the trip. We did the breakfast package too—great options and a perfect start to each day. The property itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained. Two pools, hammocks on the dock, ocean nets to lounge on, plus a plunge pool in our room. Everything worked well—AC, water, all of it. Housekeeping was thoughtful with creative towel animals left daily. We wished we had two more days just to slow down, explore the small nearby town, and take advantage of the kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes included in the stay. Taxis are pricey, but the collectivo bus is easy and cheap if you’re up for a little adventure. Even with off-season rain, it never took away from the experience. Highly recommend for anyone wanting great service, good food, and total relaxation."
