Top Cockle Cove Beach Hotel Reviews
Queen Anne Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Queen Anne Inn during our recent trip to Chatham and came away really impressed. The Inn has a wonderful old-Cape-Cod character. You can tell it's been a fixture in town for generations, and it's a nice change from the newer, more generic places nearby. The garden and grounds add a lot to the peaceful, unhurried feel of the place, and it's an easy walk into downtown Chatham for shopping and restaurants."
Chatham Seaside Cottage - Oceanfront Beach Cottage - Spectacular Views
10/10 Excellent
"This cottage exceeded our expectations, and the location couldn't be more convenient. Scott was an incredibly welcoming host who made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Ann generously shared fresh basil and tomatoes from her garden right on the property. There's great dining and shopping nearby, and we hopped on the Freedom Ferry for a day trip to Nantucket. What really stood out, though, was the Chatham community — we met so many families who've been returning summer after summer, watching their kids grow up here. It's the perfect spot for families, or just to slow down and breathe.I even managed to sneak in some work in the mornings while the kids slept in, and everything we needed for the beach was right at our fingertips. The outdoor shower was a favorite, and there's nothing better than card games and sunset dinners on the front porch. Highly recommend! Thank you Scott & Ann."
Quaint Chatham home w/beautiful backyard & furnished multi-level deck, dogs OK
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location in Chatham. Easy walk to nice cafe / restaurants and family friendly beach. Bed comfortable and AC worked great."
Stevie, The Cape Farmhouse
8/10 Good
"You know how sometimes you go away to the beach and settle into a rental house that is filled with charm, hominess, TLC, and the warmth of the family? That's NOT this house. This house is a well-appointed, clean, well-run investment property. It is an affordable, friction-free, smooth experience, but it is not a charming, lively, delightful house that helps you make memories.I'll break down the pros and cons.It was clean and spacious. It had plenty of towels, and it came with sheets and blankets. The wall A/C units worked. The door locks were easy and worked. It was about a mile from a TERRIFIC beach (Ryder's), and about the same from a terrific pond. The TVs were large and worked. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and cutlery. When we needed extra sheets because a child got sick, the service dropped them off within a couple hours. The caretaker, Brian, was very responsive by text. The house delivered all it promised. Here's what the house did not have: Any personal touches. Almost no board games, only one or two books, very little art on the walls. No bikes or boogie boards in the garage. There was dish soap, but not laundry detergent (the kind of thing that a family might leave behind as a nice touch). No throw blankets, no rugs.Basically, you know how AirBnB's started off as people's homes that they were renting out for a night or two, then became, over time, anonymous investments? That's what this was. In a sense, perfect; in another sense, very lacking."
Chatham Seafarer Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We checked in on Friday, August 14, 2026 for a wedding. John checked us in. He was so helpful, full of knowledge about the Inn and the surrounding area and great suggestions for places to eat. The grounds were beautiful, very well maintained. The rooms were clean, modern, included a mini fridge, microwave and coffee makers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, with plenty of drawer space and a nice open closet. The air conditioner was super cold and worked very well. The pool and surrounding area was beautiful. The and the landscaping was beautiful. It was a wonderful weekend in Cape Cod too! The Seafarer Inn is a gem on Main Street. We will definitely stay there again the next time we venture to Cape Cod."

Chatham walk to Cape Cod beach
10/10 Excellent
"The house is beautiful and really well equipped. Our family had a wonderful time there. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the path to the beach was very fun and easily traversed. I wouldn’t want to stay in any other part of Chatham. The beach is so close and guarded by life guards which is so important for families with children. We loved every minute! We would go back any time. Wonderful hosts too."
