"The breakfast wasnt bad. The area resturants were awesome, the bar and bartender (kyle) were dope. The pool area is small and the smell of cholorine so strong. The pool area floor is super slippery and the mattresses in the hotel are old and worn and due for a change."

"The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town to the Hudson River. For these reasons and more, I am looking forward to my next visit."
