"Really enjoyed our night in the blue bell , lovely room and a very comfortable bed. Very nice meal in the evening and a lovely breakfast in the morning what’s not to like so when we find ourselves hiking in the area again we will definitely be looking to stay a night or two in the Blue bell"

"The cottage is next to the main road. No staying up late in bed in the mornings, the road noise woke us up from 7am. Quiet at night. The location is good, very central to explore Northumberland. Cottage well equipped, especially the kitchen. Communication was good with host. Good options for restaurants (3 within walking distance) and take aways, Coop and Budgens in the village. "

"Lovely clean property, slept 5 people, very warm and cosy in a lovely quiet location on a working farm. Had everything we needed and more, owner was very helpful and generous. Great lication for waljs and visiting surrounding areas within short distances to travel."

"lovely clean warm room with large bathroom. Well provisioned with water ,teas and coffees. Very attentive staff who made sure we were fed and watered. We have now used the Black bull twice for stay overs and cant fault it. Easy parking, great bar and tasty ,quality food."
