This property is nice. It is clean on outside, inside halls and inside the bedrooms. The beds and pillows are comfortable good sized rooms. My gripe is that I have been over charged for the room. I checked in at 2:36am Sat, Aug 8th. We were out of the room by a few minutes after 11am. I was initially charged for the room using Expedia prices, great. Then there appears a second charge on Sunday for another day stay. This second charge is almost 100% more than the first night (almost double the price of original night). I did not specify two nights, only one night when first checked in, as it shows on my initial email. I am attempting to contact the hotel to remediate this but as of right now they charged me for two nights. I remember there was some issue when first checking in, where the assistant behind the desk had to assist. I believe this was a mistake and hope this gets remediated. Which I will come back to this hotel again in the future.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at the Blossom Hotel Houston! The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with clean, stylish, and aesthetically pleasing rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the amenities really stand out—the rooftop pool and bar are gorgeous and offer fantastic views. I have zero complaints about my time here. Even for a short trip, the overall experience was top-tier, and I will definitely be returning next time I'm in Houston!

The vending machine takes all your money and doesn’t release the items. The staff knows and doesn’t do anything about it. We had several people confirm the same thing happened to them. The phone in the room didn’t work. I had to walk down to the lobby. It is dingy and could use some updates.

Ok, check-in was a nightmare. I’m not blaming the receptionists but the process could have gone a little smoother. We were told our room was not ready at the 4:00 check-in time. We arrived shortly before 5:00 pm. We did not get into our room until 7:30. Two free drink tickets were received for our troubles. The drinks were gone by 6:00. An hour and a half later we were called and told our room was ready. It was not the room I reserved. After straightening things out at reception we finally get to our room. The rest of the stay was pleasant. If you ask to use the free shuttle that will only drive you within one mile of the hotel without cost, they acted very inconvenienced. No worries, we still used the shuttle and still tipped well. As for the breakfast, over $30 a plate for a pretty common but slightly upscale hotel continental breakfast. I will say the coffee was good, but the breakfast was 7 out of 10. If we stayed another night we’d have found another spot in downtown to eat. Overall, I think I would give another hotel in the downtown area a chance before booking here again. But if it were my last option, I guess I’d take it.
