Perfect location!

The house was beautiful and exactly what we needed. The beds were unbelievably comfortable which was exactly what was needed after long days of adventuring. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun family getaway

We enjoyed our quick trip to Manitou Springs! The location for our lodging was perfect! We had plenty of room for everyone and the house was well thought out and very comfortable! This is one of the best short-term rental houses we have stayed in.

We stayed here and it was the best location for doing the manitou incline or hiking or just feeling close to everything, but still a quiet get away!! The house was really clean and spacious! Would stay here again!

Amazing house

Amazing house for our family. Host was easy to work with and kept it very simple. House had perfect space for all of us and had a gorgeous view. Easy to walk to downtown and sights. Lovely house and lovely town.

Location Location Location

Jean’s place was as described and more. It’s perfect for our family getaway with 2 9 year olds and my 70 year mother. The house was clean, comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Everything felt like it was within 20 minutes from the house - downtown Manitou was within walking distance, Garden of the Gods, Flying W Ranch- all super close. We absolutely plan on coming back here again!

Wonderful stay!

The house is beautiful and well equipped. It was very comfortable. Also, within walking distance of the cog railway, which is a must if you visit Manitou Springs!

Quick stop after high altitude visit!

We stayed here after a few days in Breckenridge on our family vacation away from the Midwest heat. It was absolutely perfect. The house is so neat and really felt like we were staying in a piece of history. The house was spotless and the beds were all exceedingly comfortable. Check in and check out were completely pain free and straightforward. It was so great being right across the street from the cog railway station and just a couple blocks from the Barr trailhead. Would 100% stay again!

Just wonderful

Historic old house, perfectly restored. So cute and comfortable. Walking distance to town and across the street from the rail up to Pikes Peak - which was an amazing experience. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!

This was a very nice home in the perfect location for all your journeys to pikes peak! The house is super cool and clean. The parking is excellent and the outdoor porch was super nice for codes and relaxing after a long hike. The owner was great to deal with as well

Historic, Charming, and Updated!

We had four adult family members, a three-year-old, and a five-year-old stay for a weekend. We wish we could have stayed longer. The property is charming and historic, but it has all the modern amenities and is very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location is ideal. We really appreciated the dedicated parking. The house was spotless! We hope to come back for a longer stay. Great area to explore. So much to do! Thank you for sharing your property with us. Beautiful house, perfect location

Would absolutely stay here again. It’s a beautiful old home that is so comfortable and well appointed. It felt like being at a friend’s house, not a rental. The location cannot be beat. Steps away from Barr Trail, the incline, the cog railway and the theater, and it’s a short pleasant walk into town. Thank you!

Great location, cool house.

Great stay in a great location. Lovely, comfortable property for a few days. Couldn't sleep with the windows open, however, as traffic and talkative foot traffic starts at 5am. Being right on the main drag and so close to the incline trail / cog train has pros and cons! Would definitely stay again, however, if visiting again.

Weekend getaway

We came to spend time with family and explore the area. The host was easy to reach and addressed any issues quickly. There was one issue that could not be resolved but she did try. Everything that we planned was close and easy to get to. The beds were so very comfy after our long days of hiking! We enjoyed our stay.

Great house, great location

We stayed in this house for a girls trip birthday weekend. The location was really great and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. They were extra accommodating to allow us to check in a bit early! The cleanliness of the house was just ok. There was dust and cobwebs in places. Overall, we had a great stay.

USAFA Parents Weekend

We have been coming to visit our son at the Air Force Academy for the last 4 years. This was our last Parents Weekend so decided to head out of town a little bit to do something different. This property did NOT disappoint! It exceeded our expectations. Our only complaint is we didn’t find it sooner! Our host was super helpful & quick to answer our questions. They even offered us to check in earlier since the cleaning crew finished before our scheduled time. We loved sitting on the front porch for coffee, playing games they had supplied in the game closet & the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Truly felt like a home away from home getaway & loved the quaint town of Manitou Springs. Thankful for the memories made this weekend!

Incline Retreat

This property just keeps on giving. The house is from 1892. The wood on the staircase is magnificent. Soft from years of touch. The kitchen is fully stocked. My husband and I brought our 15 & 17 year old children and prepared several meals. The hot tub was comfortable for all of us to hang out in. The Murphy bed was my 15 year old son’s favorite thing. He slept in the upstairs living room. My favorite thing was the backyard. If you take the door out of the kitchen and climb the stairs there you end up behind the house in a tight space then you come out on the upper patio continue up those stairs into the mountains above. Beautiful views and hiking trails await. Thank you for sharing your home.

An awesome property that unders sells itself

Honestly, one of the best properties I have ever stayed with any online rental site. Tons of character, a great location and an excellent host. Unlike some properties that don't live up to the photos, I really felt like we got more than we expected here, especially in terms of space. The hot tub was a great extra that I used several times, we used a little bit of the kitchen and we used the fireplace regularly. Beds were pretty comfortable. We used the washer dryer, and don't underestimate the importance of having parking in Manitou. In fact, my one complaint about the otherwise beautiful location of Manitou. Is that parking is quite difficult on weekends, even if you're willing to pay for it, finding it is time consuming. I have no qualms at all about recommending either the city or this property.

Great location!! Our family loved the house! Everyone was truly impressed and we are pretty picky. Very CLEAN! Plenty of room to hang out and visit. Lovely furnished front porch, the kitchen and dining room was great for gathering for a meal and playing games together. The loft upstairs is a great additional hang out space. Every room has updated and upscale furnishings and each space is perfectly planned out with plenty of seating for relaxing and hanging out with the family. They have payed special attn in decorating each room. The beds were so comfortable and bedding was lovely. I would highly recommend this home. Jean went over the top to answer my calls and texts....almost immediately... to answer my questions before and during our stay...and she even went out of the way to make sure we had what we needed for my 89 year old mother's sleeping accommodations. Truly, she felt like family. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Perfect Location and Gorgeous Home!

Fun week in Manitou, walkable to downtown as well as incline. Home has a good layout for separation as well as as big family dinners. Hot tub was great bonus and front covered porch was perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation.
