About this property
Mountain Spa Guest Suite | Hot Tub, Sauna & Views
Winnemucca Spa`s lower-level, guest suite is a private experience located below the primary rental, with its own entrance, hot tub, wet sauna, and stunning Rocky Mountain views.
Designed as a peaceful adults-only retreat, the suite is ideal for couples, family or friends looking for a quiet basecamp for exploring the Pikes Peak region.
Whether it’s hiking forest trails, catching live music in the funky town of Manitou Springs, or standing in awe at the towering red rocks of Garden of the Gods… the mountains are calling. Welcome home.
>A One-of-a-Kind Mountain Retreat
Designed by renowned architect Elizabeth Wright Ingraham — the granddaughter of Frank Lloyd Wright — this home is truly unlike any other in Colorado. Elizabeth lived here herself for several years before selling the property, giving our community a special connection to her remarkable mountain-inspired architecture.
The suite offers a cozy space with eclectic charm designed for relaxation after a day exploring the Colorado mountains.
>Included in the suite you`ll find:
• Two beautiful, livable bedrooms • The primary bedroom features an ensuite bathroom with a private indoor wet sauna • The second bedroom has its own full bathroom located just down the hall • A dedicated movie theater room with projector, large screen, and wrap-around couch • A private outdoor hot tub with mountain view
Your private entrance opens onto a fully fenced one-acre yard, providing plenty of space to relax and enjoy the mountain surroundings.
Nearby trails lead into the surrounding forest, including a beautiful and secluded waterfall hike known by locals.
Wildlife is common in the area, and it’s not unusual to see deer passing through the yard along with a variety of mountain birds.
>The Perfect Basecamp for the Pikes Peak Region
Winnemucca Spa sits in a quiet residential mountain neighborhood on 1.5 acres, offering privacy and open space while still being part of a peaceful mountain community.
The entrance to Pikes Peak Highway is just a 5-minute drive away, giving you easy access to one of Colorado’s famous 14,000-foot mountains — and one of the few you can drive all the way to the summit.
A short drive will also take you to the charming mountain town of Green Mountain Falls, known for its picturesque lake and small-town feel.
In about 15 minutes, you can reach the uniquely vibrant town of Manitou Springs, where you`ll find the historic penny arcade, eclectic shops, restaurants, spas, and access to the breathtaking red rock formations of Garden of the Gods.
>Property Layout & Privacy
The spa suite is located on the lower level of the home with its own private entrance, yard and patio on the back side of the house.
The upper level of the home is a separate rental known as Winnemucca Heights. While both spaces share the same property, there are no shared areas, and the amenities listed here are completely private to the spa suite.
As with any multi-level home, you may occasionally hear normal activity from guests upstairs, mostly in the kitchen area. Both rentals observe quiet hours to maintain a peaceful environment. The upper rental also has its own private hot tub on the balcony above.
>Pet Friendly
Well-behaved dogs are welcome (must be disclosed)
• $50 pet fee per stay • Dogs must be house trained • Pets are not allowed on furniture • Dogs should not be left unattended if prone to barking or other behavioral issues. The fully fenced yard provides a great place for dogs to enjoy the mountain air.
>Getting Around
A car is recommended for exploring the area. Ride-share services like Uber can be limited in the mountains.
Several Colorado ski resorts, including Breckenridge and Copper Mountain, are about 1.5 hours away, making for an incredibly scenic drive through the Rockies.
During snowy months, a vehicle suitable for mountain driving is recommended. Roads are generally well maintained and plowed regularly, and chains are typically not required. - Adults only unless approved - Quite Hours 11pm-9am -No pets on the furniture or beds - Smoking on outdoor deck only, including 420. Great little property and everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Great location close to Pikes Peak and Manitou Springs. Would definitely stay again!
The space was nice. The views were amazing. From the hottub…the dining table…and the bedroom. It was super private but close to so many things. Perfect location. We will stay here again!
The location was great. Easy to get to all
Pikes Peak/Colorado Springs sites.
This is a downstairs suite of a house with a separate deck and entrance. The stone steps along the side of the house will be tricky if wet or snowy. Check in and communication with host was good.
Great spot to stay in the mountains with a view! Nice halfway spot between colorado springs and woodland park, which we enjoyed hiking in both of these cities and of course, visiting Garden of the Gods.We loved the hot tub and enjoyed it most days after hiking in the morning. We recommend crystal falls hike, and the little town of green mountain falls. We also recommend the Lovell Gloch trail and the rainbow golch trail in woodland park COWe saw lots of deer as well, which was quite entertaining. We will visit again!

The property was great for the most part. There are some little things that were weird. I didnt know it was the bottom unit of a 2 unit rental and the people above us were up until 4am and not loud per say but they were not walking quiet and there was cabinets slamming or something like that happening the entire stay which was very weird feeling since there was 2 girls staying alone we were a little on edge. There is a couch in the "theater room" they called it, but even if we wanted to watch tv the couch smelled pretty old and raunchy like the smell of a bunch of B.O. not very enticing. There is furniture all over the place that is just worn done scraped and very used which just took away from all the beauty and hobestly if i had known there was units i would have never rented it in the first place because i was looking for secluded and quie. The owners also are somewhere close but not attached which was a little disappointing because no one wa ts to rent a place and wonder where they are so a d wonder if they are watching you. Now, the owner asked if we needed anything and i asked if she could put rose petals from the hall to the master bedroom which she did but they were fake petals which ki nda made it lame and not what i was going for but still nice that she was willing to try to accommodate! Overall it wasnt a bad stay it just wasnt the stay i was hoping for. I wish it was a little more clear on the space and the fact that it was the bottom unit of 2 rentals.
