This place was exactly what I needed! So relaxing, so accommodating, a little slice of heaven! The breakfast buffet and the pool were my favorite part! I would definitely return

Nightly Entertainment was top notch as well as the pool side activities. The food was average at best. A little disappointed in the buffet being closed 2 of the 4 nights we were there. The food at the other restaurants (which require reservations)was pretty but not overly tasty. My kids didn’t like it. Thankfully there was room service available. We came in on a Sunday only to find no buffet is offered that night and all the other restaurants required reservations which you can’t make until check in and by then there weren’t any reasonable times still available. Biggest disappointment was with the beach or lack there of. Their back is almost completely washed away so it was unusable. Also there was a horrible stench coming from the beach that hung in the air over the entire pool area. Not sure if it was rotten sea life or even a sewage leak. Would have appreciated a warning about that. Palace also recently eliminated the benefit they offered to allow you to visit and use their other facilities if you book via Orbitz. Lastly didn’t love being hit hard by the staff for a timeshare upon arrival and also the resort credits were beyond worthless. I have stayed at Palace resorts in the past and used to love them, but if this stay is typical of what to expect now we will never go with Palace again.
