"Although this property is within easy access to the beach and the river we found the bedrooms lacked storage space, the outdoor furniture was very difficult to manage as it is heavy, unstable and hard to move. Being able to spend as much time as possible outside is important for a family. We used the bar b que and found only 2 burners worked. "Absolutely gorgeous little spot, and the Kanuka Cabin was really lovely, took me and my Fiancée right back down on a trip to memory lane to our childhoods. Has everything you need for a nice getaway, Far enough from town that all you hear is the Tūī and Fantails with the sound of the creek, and close enough to be at the beach in 5 minutes.
