Beach Hotels in New Zealand

"Stayed at Warakei Resort for 3 weekday nites and used it as a base for full day trips doing the Lake Taupo Loop and the Central Plateau Mts Loop. Perfect accomodation for a late winter solo traveller. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Grounds extensive and diverse.....7-8am swim in thermal lap pool was magic. Room spacious, everything worked, plenty of bathroom and coffee-tea making supplies. Room serviced daily whilst out exploring. A great place to come 'home to' after out all day. "Would highly recommend. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. The views were amazing. All the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and a 5 minute walk to all the downtown lakefront shops and restaurants."

"Had a super lovely stay at this hotel. The beds were comfy, the room was modern and had lovely views from outside the property. However I will say “mountain views room” is a little deceiving as the windows in the room were small and had a beam covering them which made it a little difficult to really see out of them. But other than that we had a great stay and it was relatively affordable. "

"Easy walk to & from airport. The rooms are clean, modern and the staff are very welcoming. Great place to stay if your flying out early from International airport as well. "
