"Jim McGees is a great pub, old school without food, but as a place to stay you could eat elsewhere first then have drinks in the marvellous bar, which has an eclectic array of photographs and posters on its walls which create a very special ambience. The service from the man in charge was perfect; discreet, prompt, courteous. When we retired for the night the room upstairs was surprisingly like something you would find in a smart hotel, the room elegantly and simply decorated, the bed huge with crisp white cotton sheets, incredibly comfortable, a couple of blue velvet chairs at a table with tea and coffee facilities (but you had to place the kettle on the floor to boil it near the socket and it was too big to fill it from the sink so you had to do that using a cup, but these were somehow rather interesting quirks rather than a negative thing, such was our love for the whole experience of Jim McGees. Parking is within the grounds of the establishment which makes it even better. Highly recommended !"

"We stayed in Enniscorthy on our way to visit Wexford and walked around the town. The staff were exceptionally helpful and gave us good information on the parking which is in the car park across the road at the leisure centre. Plenty of spaces available on a saturday and just €5 to park overnight which is payable at the hotel. We ate in the Thai restaurant which was good food and had a drink and watched the live music in the bar."

"The hotel grounds are huge and perfect for exploring. There are bikes outside the courtyard you can use for free. Hunters yard is a more modern stay and the manor is more classic. Pool is lovely with loungers to relax on. "
