"The lead-up to this one night stay was THE most stressful hotels dot com experience of my entire life. I paid for the room in December 2025, and between December 2025 and April 2026, I called Hotels.com for help to reschedule since I made a mistake and scheduled it during a time when one of my children was still in school and the other was on spring break. Numerous hours spent on phone calls, chats and emails were in vain as they claimed they couldn’t reach the property. I could not reach the property either, but since it is 2026, a landline phone should not have been their only option. I was forced to take my child out of school for two days. Even calling Choice Hotels, the parent company, didn’t help. When we finally got to the hotel, I asked why they didn’t answer their phones - ever - and they claimed their phone system was down and it would be back up shortly. How could a phone system be down for three months? They gave me an email address for future reference. Why didn’t Hotels.com have this? The stay itself was OK. We were just there for the sunrise, and nothing else. We had the free continental breakfast ( no eggs ) and coffee, and the staff apologized to us for the inconvenience. My husband told me that being on the balcony, watching the sun come up was his “happy place” on two different occasions, so I guess it was worth it. "

"We loved this house. Great accommodations, we didn’t want for anything. Hot tub and fire pit were perfect and very private. Katie is an amazing and communicative host."

"We booked a king size room and it was mossing 2 nightstands and a desk. You don’t realize how much you need them until you don’t have them. Also only had one chair to sit in. After a long drive - we just wanted to relax. The hotel itself was dated but clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good."

"The property was very clean and well-stocked. Beds were comfortable and pictures matched reality. Jocelyn was so kind to leave us ingredients for smores and Easter eggs for my kids to have a hunt in the backyard. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and hope to make it back again some time!"

"Absolutely gorgeous views of the water both in front of the house and to the side. Plenty of plates, cups, silverware for our family along with little extras like salt, pepper, and sugar.in the cupboard. Coffee bar had a regular coffee maker and a Keurig single serve. Nice size stainless steel fridge to.hokd our groceries. Host was quick to respond. Deck could use a sanding and new stain - it's rough on bare feet. The indication of a beach was a little disappointing - there is no beach. But there is a place to put in the 2 kayaks that the owners are kind enough to provide. Be careful of jellyfish if you are in the water. Furniture seems new for the most part and the house seems freshly painted. I do wish there was more lighting in the front room for working on a puzzle. The dining table does not have an overhead light and there is no nearby lamp. Wonderful stay overall and excellent hosts and neighbors. It's very cool to be next to the ferry too. Loved having use of a dock. And we appreciated the extra blankets because it got quite chilly at night. "

"The outside could be worked on a bit,but over all it was a comfortable stay,the bed was really comfortable and clean and whoever the housekeeper is who decorates the towels should get a raise that’s what sealed the deal for me it actually put a smile on my face when I saw it. "

"Wonderful three nights! This is our second time staying at this little slice of heaven! Ten steps to the bays edge. We found lots of sea glass and enjoyed the quiet. "
