"Although the room was small it had a beautiful ocean view and was comfortable. Ben, the owner, is who makes this place special. He is an intelligent and thoughtful host who is able and willing to engage in a variety of conversations. Moreover, the inn is situated perfectly for enjoying Acadia National Park without having to deal with the crowds at Bar Harbor. I highly recommend it."

"It is sometimes hard to find a nice pet friendly place but this one was great. Exactly as described, very clean and the host was great to work with. We even got in a few hours early. Beautiful view of the harbor. The stairs were pretty steep but not a huge issue for us. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again ourselves."

"One of the reasons I chose this property is because it had 4 bedrooms and a bunkroom ideal for 4 couples and 2 kids. It was very well stocked with everyday neccessities. My 1st impression was how beautiful the property was. The multilevel floor plan allowed the adults to play cards in the lower level without waking the little ones,"

Those views are amazing ( you must get up at sunrise at least one morning ), the star gazing is incredible and the fire pit with ALL things you need including the smores stuff. The cottage is Very Clean, very well maintained and super cozy and private. So many little added amenities to make this cottage special. Would highly recommend."
