Super calm and relaxing. The kids that are serving are amazingly polite. Every employee I met from Yamaha reefs beginning with taxi that picks you up from airport is very helpful and treat you like royalty . Great experience for sure

The place is awesome.. The service is good... communication with management not so good... food prices too high...not enough food for ammount of money i paid... A lobster plate had only a mandarine slide size for $35.00 dollars... another thing is that I was not told about the $160 transportation fee up front... Also I waited for a taxi that did not show at the time that I was told by management. Breakfast is $15.00... And menu is in english only.. The place is good, confortable, clean... The staff was nice and well educated..

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Everything about this place is excellent: grounds, rooms, and service. I do highly recommend this hotel. Stay at least one night. More is better, though 😊

The property itself and the rooms are beautiful! The staff were also very attentive and our room was always very clean and well stocked. However, it is extremely expensive (food, drinks, transportation) compared to the rest of the island and Nicaragua in general. Further, the walk to get there and back to town on a long, muddy, unmaintained path through the jungle. The alternative to walking is a $10 per person water taxi that takes ~5 mins, which in my opinion was quite the rip off. Overall the place seems like more of an American tourist money grab than anything authentically Nicaraguan. There was also no wifi during our entire stay which was quite the inconvenience, but we were compensated for this after speaking to the manager about our concerns.

Yemaya Reefs was wonderful. A true paradise!! The view and beach is absolutely stunning. The staff and everyone on the island are so nice. Would definitely go back again.

This had to be the most idyllic place to. be during coven 19. an unintentional respite from the madness in the world. the location was marvellous, the staff were outstanding and the rooms were above anything we have ever experienced before.

The property is located in a paradise. The cabin with a plunge pool is a must if you are considering going here. There is cero crime in the island so nothing to worry if you want to explore around the island. The staff is friendly and client oriented. My only complaint is the logistic on how they get you off the island. We were stuck for 6 hours waiting for a confirmed-panga-departure that it turned out not to be true. We could have enjoyed our room a little bit longer if the staff had solid information that transportation was on the way. My recommendation to the staff would be that the admin should be more efficient with communication between the hotel and the Nicaraguan marina, so they can rely on solid information about panga’s departure instead of relying on whatever the panga’s captain says to them. We felt like left on our own once we were at the little corn pier and the panga didn’t leave so we had to take the weekly cargo ship back to big corn. The locals were telling us that this ship wouldn’t arrive until 5:30 pm. If the locals knew there is no way that the admin didn’t know this information as well. Instead, we were left at the pier at 1200 pm, and we had to wait for 6 hours for out transportation back. We understand that this was not under normal weather conditions, but the admin should strive for better logistics, so the client won’t suffer the improvisation of getting their stay cut short due to bad weather so we would not lost our flight back to Managua.

An absolute must if you are in Nicaragua! The staff were amazing right from the start of us landing on the island right till the very end! Town is a 30 minute walk full of great bars and people!

Worst management and middle management which doesn't care about guest and have no sense of hospitality! Room view and place was really nice and here it ends. Management is one of the worst that I have ever seen. Without any filing for hospitality and treating guests. Only way to the hotel is with small boat from the village/main little dock. And on the last day at 13:00 they sit us in the boat and left us waiting for 30 minutes so that it started raining really heavily and we were sitting in a boat with our luggage. Than when we were silky wet captain arrived and took us to the village/main little dock from where Panga (shuttle boat) starts for Big Corn and left us there. But Panga didn't get permission from Navy/Water Police to start for the Big Corn due to the strong wind which was about 20 MPH and this is the limit. So they informed us that today we will not be able to reach Big Corn and that we need to cancel/postpone our flights. But this is higher force and we couldn't do anything. On this boat we were 4 couples from Yemaya and a girl member of middle management from Yemaya when she saw the situation she just escaped back to Hotel and we immediately contacted Yemaya and informed them about our situation and that we are at least 1 night without any accommodation on this small Island. We were writing e-mails and calling them but they didn't answer any e-mail and on the phone they were suddenly speaking just Spanish and they were fully booked even the fact anyone is co

By far the best plave I’ve ever been!! Evveryone was so loving and kind. Treated us with open arms and made us feel at home. I HIGHLY recommend. John, Alvaro, Jeer and Oreestes were by far the best staff we ever encountered.

If you want really nice romantic secluded getaway
great resort. there's no shared resort pool but several rooms with their own private pool. isolated resort on one side of the island which is nice if that's what you want, but to get to other side of island (where all the bars and restaurants are, dive shops, etc) it's a good half hour walk on a trail (there are no cars on little corn island). accommodating staff. had an issue of no water for a few hours and we couldn't take a shower but resolved within a couple hours

Secluded Paradise - Love Yemaya
From arrival to departure 100% first class five star service. Warm welcomes at every opportunity from amazing staff who stopped at nothing to make every moment of our stay perfect. Our ocean accommodations was breathtaking, housekeeping on point, superb variety of yoga classes and the grounds always well maintained. The views and water were heavenly! But overall, the staff here - wow is all I can say... never had such warm geniune service anywhere in the world. Some people may find the lack of wifi everywhere and long wait for food a constraint; however, we came to appreciate being disconnected and it made more time for conversations. It really allows you connect again with what is really important. Drinks: Overpriced and lacking quality single malt scotch; however, their tequila selection was brilliant and the best i've seen in nicaragua. That is me being picky because if you drink beer or cocktails you will have no worries. The beach bar was probably the worst I've come across. Could not get a beer or service my entire trip. The food was amazing and always fresh. A la carte, affordable, and different menu every day. The chef and cooks even went out of their way to make us something off the menu we requested for our good friend Rachell's birthday - probably the best gourmet homade hamburger we ever ate in our lives. Dear hamburger chains worldwide, you need to come to Yemaya and learn what a hamburger should taste like.

Everything was perfect about our stay. From the minute our boat landed it was clear this was a resort was perfect. The grounds are immaculate, the food is affordable/locally sourced/ organic, the views are to die for, the service rivals any Ritz-Carlton resort, and the fun activities (snorkeling/boating/SUP/walking on the beach) make for perfect days. Cheers to the owner, staff, and hotel manager. You've perfected a tropical hideaway and made my stay the best vacation ever.

Gorgeous hotel and beach. Best on Little Corn Isld
When I arrived I sent a text to a special friend and said 'I have stepped into heaven'. Wonderful welcome fantastic food, just sad it wasn't lobster season, staff made me feel it was my second home and really spoilt me with their attention. I had absolutely nothing to complain about. The Spa treatments by Anya were amazing, the Pino colada at the Beach Bar the best I have had, the smoothies really hit the mark and as mentioned before the food great. Breakfast was also a treat. The reef just off shore was a fun spot as was the sailing boat. I was also delighted to have my own personal transport to the island and it saved any organisation on my part and that is always a real treat when travelling. Just to top it off, when I wanted to go to town one evening I had an escort home to ensure my safety. Well done Yemaya and thank you.

Went here a few days relaxing, great location and beach spot. Service is good, facilities could be a new shape but good overall. Food a bit disappointed some times, same dish different servings or ingredients. Everything needs to extra charge, wine knowledge needs to train.

Nice hotel nice view a little far from town
We loved the view and the beach of this hotel, the rooms are also very nice. There is a lot of wind in this side of the island and is a little far from the town. we were a little disappointed of the restaurant, during of 5 days we couldn't eat fresh fish because they didn't have some products and they had a kitchen problem. Also the dishes are always the same (it would be nice to change at least 1 or 2 dishes every week) and you are forced to eat there every night because you need 30 min to go to the village. The staff was very very nice but one member was kind of rude (nora) she interrupted us during our last diner just to make sure that we were going to check out at the time required by the hotel and called the next morning to confirm again (!) thanks all for our nice stay :)

The facilities and the beach of the hotel are excellent. Probably the best beach in Nicaragua. Sparkling clean rooms, very comfortable and well design! Amazing views from almost any spot of the hotel. Quite on the pricey side, which is okay, but the front desk service does not necessarily correspond to what you pay. For example, to reach the airport you need to get on a ferry. In our case, our transfer from the hotel was organized so late, we ended up nearly missing the ferry. Despite having the option to reserve spots on the ferry in advance, the hotel did not reserve for us (nor did the staff offer this option). Also, I found the food in the restaurant to be "hit and miss", which again does not necessarily align well with what you pay for.
