"This was truly a home away from home experience. The property itself is so tastefully renovated and has a true French country feeling. The owner and her family are so warm and friendly. They offered great suggestions for exploring the surrounding areas along with great places to dine in the evening. Every morning breakfast was presented in a true French style. The Hotel la Prison is part boutique hotel, part immersive cultural experience, part modern art gallery. And the sum of the parts is a unique hotel experience. Really enjoyed the quality of the breakfast, even if range limited (curated!), in the attached bistro and the ambition in the evening meal we had in the same location. "

"Rooms were large and comfortable with very good aircon, great location with shops, bars and bakeries nearby Rooms had a small kitchenette with hob, fridge, kettle etc which was very handy! Staff were friendly and helpful Only complaint was I drank the tap water twice and felt really sick, and it left a terrible smell in my water bottle, so would assume it’s not drinkable but it wasn’t signposted Overall would recommend!"
