"My husband and I flew in to the San Diego Airport and took public transportation to Coronado Island. We either walked or rode the bus to go where we wanted to go. The hotel is really close to the bus stops. We were very happy with the location. The hotel has been renovated and is in great condition. "

"We had a great stay at the Crown City Inn. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but based on the excellent reviews, I was optimistic. Our room was on the first floor, and I was concerned about noise from the second floor, but there was none. The room was clean and updated, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. There was plenty of room for two of us and our luggage. It was convenient to have a refrigerator and microwave. The reception area was welcoming with fresh iced tea, cookies, and filtered water. The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly. The pool area was comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting out there in the late afternoon. Loved that there were bikes for us to use, and we rode them out to the beach one day to explore and watch the sunset. Parking was usually full in the main area, but we had no problem parking in the designated spots in the alley immediately behind the property. It was also an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Everything felt very safe, and we would definitely return. "
