The rooms are well kept and recently renovated. There were upgrades happening to rooms nearby my room during my stay, however trades didn't start until a reasonable hour and was communicated at check in. Beds are super comfy too!!!

Large spacious room. Comfortable bed. Crisp white linen. Generous walk-in shower. Well equipped for breakfast self-catering. Lovely hot shower with luxurious products, moisturised body lotion then sink into cosy bed. Quiet location. Good value, not state of the art modern, but great stay.

great place with loads of room. the owners allowed us to arrive a couple of hours before normal check to freshen up for a local funeral.

Very Poor Experience
The property was too 1960’s and poor. The mattress was terrible, standing in a spa bath for a shower is both 1960’s and dangerous. The sealing on the spa bath had mould on it, the brick work was cracked and the deco was terrible. The TV (Thompson sic Chinese) was a joke as was the WIFI. No HD TV and very weak one bar WIFI connection (when connection when possible) is not acceptable. And the colour of the titles was a bad joke. Will not stay at any of your properties again,

Great room, service & location close to town
As always a great stay, motel & location. The king size bedroom was a large size & well appointed. Hence why we have stayed there previously. Under relatively new management, still Friendly service with nothing too much trouble to provide eg extra towels etc. Having a large heated pool/spa was great plus a large swimming pool. Great out door entertaining facilities including a well appointed BBQ area. Our stay was over the Xmas, Boxing Day period, hence we didn’t get a chance to try out the restaurant, We would stay here again.

Wow! What an experience !! Owner was so friendly and accommodating even before we got there ! We had to attend a wedding and I wanted to get into our room early and it was absolutely no problem !! The room was spotless and spacious and I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time !! Anyone going to Corowa should only stay here !! It has a pool with gorgeous banana lounges too ! A real oasis feel ! A huge thank you to the man at the desk !! I’ve had some horrible experiences lately and this was just such a wonderful experience !! Thank you

The Decor was very chic. The only issue was a bedside light that did not work, but no great significance. would happily stay again when in Corowa.

Very friendly staff. The room was very big, spotless, clean white sheets and towels, comfy bed and everything you could want. We would definitely recommend this motel. Oh and parking right at the front door. The pool looked lovely as well.

Very accomodating- we had late check in and all was organised for a very stress free cosy welcome. Spa was warm, very clean and a lovely treat to our short weekend stay. Spacious rooms with great amenities. Courtesy bus to RSL easy to arrange. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay, hosted by Cathy and Gary who nice and helpful . The room was clean and spacious and the pools and garden areas were well maintained and clean. It was peacefull and quiet during the duration of our stay. Would certainly come back again.

David was very helpful and friendly and room was well appointed, spacious and well lit. An external power point or Type 2 electric vehicle charger would help EV drivers like us.

Gem of a spot.
The federation hotel was an absolute gem of a place to stay, everything was in great order, owners were so welcoming and helpful. It truly felt like a country homestead rather then your standard hotel. Recommended highly for any traveller heading to Corowa.

Location is great - only 10 mins up the road from Rutherglen wine region. Rooms are dated, but clean and cheap. I found the hostess to rude, using a poor choice of words, passing comment on my “piggy” weekend (uh yeah, I’m in Rutherglen - a food and wine destination!). I’ll definitely be back to the area, so many great things to see and do, but next time I’ll stay somewhere else.

Hi FionaThe room you had booked was a standard room, which as such has not been renovated to the extent of our other rooms. This room has new carpet, curtains and air-conditioning. We are sorry you misinterpreted comments by our hostess, her meaning of "piggy" would have meant having a good time with the food and wine opportunities in our area.

We had a large room with updated bathroom and kitchenette. A lovely hot shower with good water pressure was appreciated. Besides the king size bed we also had a table with 2 chairs, tow loung chairs and a big screen tv. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!
