"A lovely cosy cottage roughly 5 minute drive into central Stroud. The cottage is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped, plus there is parking, room for 2 cars on site. The welcoming note was a welcoming touch along with a few provisions such as milk, tea, coffee and a very nice cake upon our arrival. The owners also sent us a nice email at the beginning of our stay to say to contact them should be anything we required help with or needed to know about the area. We would definitely consider doing another stay in this lovely cottage if we were to stay in Stroud again."

The outside seating is overlooked by the main road and due to roadworks it was a bit too busy with standing traffic to sit outside. The pub next door was very good and we enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast the next day."

"Lovely cottage with a sunny garden. Nice decoration. Parking nearby is sometimes difficult. 10 minutes walk to the city center or the Waitrose supermarket, but both are a steep climb back. Stroud is not very attractive, but lots of beautiful Cotswold villages within a 30 to 45 minutes drive."
