Cotswold Way

No hot water in one room (neither sink nor shower) and only hot at sink in other room. Bathroom vent was shared with another, so we could hear them talking, peeing, etc. One of the rooms we reserved (on Expedia) was supposed to have a king bed, but they have none. The largest was an ‘oversized’ double, which was somewhat similar to a US queen bed. Hotel receptionist said breakfast opened at 6:45am, which we planned on and purchased in advance. When we went diwn for it in the morning, we were told it wasn’t open until 7:30…causing us problems for our schedule for the morning. At least they reimbursed us for the breakfast.

Very poor start, got there to see loads of Pay to Park signs. It's at the end of a lane in the middle of nowhere and carpark is in poor condition with large potholes. Staff were friendly, room was ok, great pressure in shower but sadly breakfast was a disappointment, child portions, only one staff member (very friendly) but not able to keep things replenished. Overall, stay was ok but I wouldn't return.
