"The property and gardens are ideal for a multi generation family stay in comfort. It has a lovely large kitchen and seating area with separate large dining area and lovely lounge for quiet time. The bedrooms are well sized and beds comfortable. Beware the need to close bathroom and bedroom windows and doors when showering to avoid setting off the fire and CO alarms. The barn is 5 minutes to Burford and the Cotswold Wildlife Park and close to other Cotswold attractions. Although I was concerned when I saw some of the reviews of StayCotswold I must say their communications and service was excellent enabling us to check in early and addressing the alarm issue promptly."

"The Vines I believe has been recently taken over by new owners/management. They are still trying to find their feet, but are open and upfront about it from the moment you check in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the beer cold and crisp, the room clean and peaceful. I think once they get their rhythm the vines will only get better, though I did enjoy the feeling of it being like coming home to mum and dads which sometimes is a good thing and needed."

"Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bedrooms and living areas. The garden was just beautiful and we spent a lot of time here. Communications with Jenni were excellent and Angie made us very welcome when we arrived. It was a family get together with a variety of ages and the house was just perfect for us. "We were upgraded by the delightfully kind manager to a room with a bath. As we were walking the Thames Path this was hugely appreciated - a wonderful clawfoot bath and a good shower. The room was large, light and beautiful. There was a little noise as we were above the bar, but only at a low hubbub and it didn't impact our sleep at all (I'm a very light sleeper). Dinner was delicious, as was breakfast. The New Inn exceeded our expectations."

"Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful Shepard's hut with a spacious hot tub. Based in a lovely little village with a cosy pub round the corner, serving nice food. The hut was clean and has everything needed for a weekend's stay. Only slight issue was how short the bed was as we are both tall, but can't be helped too much with the size of the hut."
