"The room was very comfortable and clean. It did not have a coffee maker in the room. Very impressed with the breakfast. There were many choices and was satisfying and tasty."

"Room we booked was not available. We needed a two room suite, and we reserved one with a king bedroom and queen bed living room. At check in there were none of these rooms available. We were given a two room set up, but with a small pull out instead the living room. The mattress was filthy and complete collapsed."

"We had 3 adults in our party but were only given 2 bath towels, one wash cloth, one hand towel and no bath mat. The thermostat was not working in our room. The coffee pot had to be moved into the bedroom from its regular location as there was no outlet to plug it in."

"First impression of the area… was worried about noise from the freeway. Luckily, there was none! Parking was a bit limited but managed to get a spot not too far from the main doors. Front desk clerk, Jordan, was friendly and polite, and we were able to get an early check in. Thank you Jordan! Only one elevator but the hotel didn’t appear to be super crowded so no issues having to wait on the elevator or it be too crowded. The room and bathroom were clean. Temperature control was great! Not as much water pressure in the shower as I would’ve liked but no big deal. My only complaint, and this has NOTHING to do with the hotel, was the group of high school kids staying there for what I assume was a sporting event. Some of the students occupied the room next to ours. At about 10pm, they were running and yelling down the hallway and crashed into their room. Fortunately, the adult chaperones were quick to address the situation. Silence for the remainder of the night. However, at 6:30am, the same kids decided to blast their music. This time, I had to contact the front desk. The gentleman, whose name I did not get, was kind and said he would handle the noise. Music was off in less than 10 minutes. Thank you Sir! Check out was easy… just dropped the keys in the box and said a quick good morning and goodbye to Jordan at the desk. We don’t travel to this area often, however, should we need to in the future, this will definitely be the hotel of choice."

"Great room, pretty, quality, and comfortable amenities. It was clean, has a bathtub, comfortable bed, down pillows, fridge and microwave for a very good price. However the room had less privacy than I expected from the images, it has a window above the front door which we threw a shirt over to cover. It needs frosting. The bathroom window could use frosting or a curtain too, because the blinds don't cover everything, so no matter where you are in the room, someone can see you if you're naked. We afixed the window with a trash bag to cover the remaining space. There's a private hot water heater for the bathroom, which was very nice. The bath had no plug, but we made due with a washcloth. Parking was abundant, renters responded very quickly and were polite. They had no issue with our late arrival, checking in was dead simple. This is a mostly quiet place, but we felt we could make noise comfortably. We are not particularly loud, but did stay up pretty late playing music to ourselves without complaint. Carpet had stains, but wasn't unsightly. The room smelled of cigarette smoke when we walked in, seemingly from other nearby renters smoking outside the room based on the evidence outside. We used a candle and the scent of smoke did not persist. The tv was stand out quality, large with very impressive sound and picture. The location was centrally located for our needs, we woud stay again. I would recommend this place, just bring a plastic bag or shirt for the windows."

"This has to be one of the nicest places we've ever stayed! Set on a gorgeous, forested property in a beautiful neighborhood of winding streets and stunning homes canopied by stately old growth trees, the Guest Cottage is, simply, perfection. Bright, beautiful, cozily-appointed, with beamed ceilings, great light, big, airy rooms, and plenty of places to put things, it's easy to enjoy the space, and just BE. There wasn't a thing we could think of that the owner had missed or left out; everything was arranged and designed for our comfort and enjoyment, so we were thrilled to spend our two nights in the "City of Trees" in this wonderful space. Highly recommend and if we're in Sacramento again, we'll definitely make it a first choice accommodation. "

"Nice little place for one or two people and a short stay. I enjoyed being across the street from the park as it was a nice place to walk the dogs. The area was quiet and felt safe.The sheets and comforter were very soft and comfortable, but the bed was a little firm for my preference. The sink in the bathroom didn’t seem to be able to provide warm or hot water but the rest of the shower and kitchen did. The shower didn’t look like it had been cleaned from the last people. The yard was very peaceful but is overgrown. I would stay here again for a short stay."

"The room was only somewhat clean. The bedsheets had cigarette burns, the curtains were falling apart, and the floors were dirty and sticky. When we first arrived, there were two sheriff’s trucks parked outside, with people doing drugs nearby and several homeless individuals in front of the hotel. The overall environment felt unsafe and very rundown. The water from the sink came out yellow, which was extremely concerning. On top of that, when we checked out the next day, the staff initially refused to return my $100 deposit because they couldn’t find the record. The whole process was disorganized and frustrating. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. I would not stay here again."
