"Our stay at the Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and even assisted with valet parking, which made everything so easy. Everyone we met was professional and friendly, but a special thank you goes to Ines at the front desk. She welcomed us with a smile, helped us get settled, and went above and beyond to arrange restaurant reservations and recommend things to see and do around the island. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the manager, who was extremely personable and genuinely interested in making sure guests were enjoying their stay. His approachability and warm conversation added to the overall welcoming atmosphere.
Our room was very comfortable, and the view overlooking the marina was absolutely beautiful — waking up to it each morning was unforgettable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety, and the hotel’s location made it easy to explore Ponta Delgada on foot.
This was my first time in São Miguel, and it will definitely not be my last. We would absolutely choose this hotel again when we return."
"Fantastic Hotel on the harbour, gorgeous views, very comfortable rooms with a pillow menu to ensure you are even more comfortable! Amazing breakfast, best one we had in the Azores. Rooms are very luxurious, the only thing I would say is that the bathroom can be confusing as the doors are all reflective like a mirror. The bar was a little slow service but lovely spot up there.

Originally I booked room with out terrace, but without any problem i was given room with terrace looking over pool area.
Food is excellent, breakfast was delightful, great choice of hot and cold food.
Restaurant is serving lunch and dinner and choice is good.
Rooms are good size with nice bathroom.
Overall hotel is in excellent condition,5 minutes from harbour and lot of restaurants in walking distances.
Only little thing is there is not enough parking spaces it first come first served.

Try for a room with a view as there is no outside amenity area. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice plus an la carte menu.

"Our stayed was delightful. Staff are very helpful and friendly, location is good if you have a car. A big supermarket is just down the street, also the food at the terrace was pretty good, I had a steak and it was delicious, including cocktails. I will come back here again for sure"
