"It's a cute, refurbished roadside motel. Our room was a bit smaller than we expected, but was perfect for our 2 night stay. Very clean, and had lots of amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit area behind the building. It was a nice place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing and enjoy a bottle of wine."

"We recently stayed at The Read House hotel in Chattanooga and were very disappointed by how a serious cleanliness issue was handled. Ou our first evening, we found a live cockroach in our room. We killed it and immediately called the front desk. Someone to pick up the tissue with the bug, without saying a word and left. We never received an apology, follow-up or any acknowledgement afterward. At checkout, we mentioned the incident again to a different staff member, and she didn't react or apologize either, which lead us to believe that this was not an isolated incident and that the hotel staff is aware of the issue. For a hotel in this price range, we expect at least a basic acknowledgment of the situation and some reassurance that it would be addressed. This experience really affected our impression of the hotel."

"We loved the hot tub and swim spa! We grilled one night and had everything we needed. There is a train pretty near the cabin site so if you are a light sleeper they have earplugs available. All in all, a great stay!"

"The house and property was charming and very inviting! The amenities in the house were plentiful and great to have for some cooking we did using the kitchen. There was a very comfortable bed and the shower was exceptional too! It’s always nice to have good water pressure when taking a shower. We enjoyed a local restaurant down the street and it was very close to the UTC campus where we visited our child who is a student. Very nice and we will be back when we visit again! I hope it’s available! "

"Shannon is a pleasure to deal with. She went over the top with the accommodations. Everything is top notch. So much so that I asked where she got the towels from and have already ordered me some. The place is decorated very nicely too. My lady friend was extremely impressed that I had picked such a nice place. If I'm ever staying in chattanooga again this is the place. Thanks again Shannon."
