This is an ideal place if you’re looking to stay close to Gatwick for a reasonable price. However, you won’t get a great sleep. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone. It’s a very old room, there was water damage to the ceiling which hasn’t been repaired, the toilet was wobbly and the shower could do with a good clean! The man on reception was really helpful and kind :)

Word of warning
Word of warning, the road leading up to the hotel is in a very severe state of disrepair. Anybody who has a vehicle incapable of dealing with potholes approx 18 inches deep, 36 inches round and bumps at 10 inches high should find alternative accommodation. This is in no way to say that the accommodation isn’t good enough for what it is advertised as.

Awful country lane leading to property which has caused damage to underside of car (deep holes in road). Tired property-stains on carpets-light switches not working-awful soundproofing-tiny shower towel-smell coming from shower-weak shower-just old and tired.

Rooms look NOTHING like the pictures like at all walked in our bed was in the middle of nothing, paid for king size bed I got a small double bed road that drives into the hotel not safe at all the pot holes HORRIBLE straight out of a horror movie, creaky floors, trust me I do not recommend

My car got damaged
My car got damaged ,travelling down the lane to accommodation. Then wont take responsibility, the lane is in such need of repairs, unfit to use, its a joke . I now can not leave without causing more damage

It was a very cold November night and the one radiator that had a bed in front of it was not big enough for the size of the room, despite turning the dial up and moving the bed away to let the heat out. The shower was awkward and cramped and the towels were tiny so wont cover you if you are bigger than a size 10. Bed was comfortable though and warm enough to sleep in. The road leading to the hotel will kill you suspension as very bumpy. Decent enough for one night. Missed breakfast, which was my fault so cant comment on that.
