"This hotel is nothing to look at from the outside, but the room was spacious and included an electric fireplace. The lobby/eating area was large and could accommodate many people. The hot breakfast buffet rotated its selections and posted a weekly menu selections. The location was convenient to all attractions in the Black Hills."

"Loved the cabin. Location wasn't very clear that there would be loud highway noise. We were constantly on the go but if we wanted to hang out on the deck or yard it was very noisy. All amenities were used and worked great except the living room tv but that wasn't a deal breaker and I'm sure was fixed by the next reservation! We will recommend this place and the Black hills retreat company to all of our friends and family! Thank you 😊"

"We found this crazy amazing place planning our trip to Mt Rushmore and the black hills . It’s everything we could have wanted and more ! Quiet -peaceful in nature , but in a gorgeous cabin like home . We were greeted by An American flag , Bbq grill , seating around a fire pit , easy parking (lighted and safe) porch with table and chairs and that’s only the outside!! Inside was perfect ! Every detail from the fireplace /heater to the lovely stocked kitchen and bathroom , washer dyer , warm comfortable bed and bedding with lovely decor including books of the area and suggestions . We only needed one short communication with the hosts when we arrived and both were very kind - after that no need to for them because everything was perfect . The location excellent !!! 2 mile from crazy horse and all other areas equally easy to one and go from. It was one of the best places we have stayed and we have had a lot to compare . We enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave !!!"
