My sons and I stayed for one night at the hotel Charlemagne so we could experience the city and the food culture it provided. We enjoyed the air conditioning the hotel had to offer in the rooms AAA we happened to hit a warm spell at the time of our visit. The lobby is fine, the elevators smaller than one might expect at a 4 star hotel, but all in all the photos of the facility are fairly accurate. It is a nice place to stay for the money you pay.

Our stay was great. I would have liked a fridge in the room. It is a beautiful, old hotel with a lot of character. I would have preferred hardwood in our room from a cleanliness point of view. The breakfast was good and the staff were great. We also had dinner in the restaurant, which was terrific.

Pleasant no frills stay. Exactly what I needed, just a bed and a bathroom

Loved the Service at the hotel-as we were waiting for our taxi,the receptionist brought my wife and I a coffee. Loved the food at Bistro Bondy which is closed to the hotel
