"The cottage is in a stunning location and has great views of the harbour from the terrace and main bedrooms. There are plenty of bathrooms, and space for a large group to spread out. Unfortunately there were a number of minor maintenance issues which let the place down, and be aware that the arrival is stressful if you have a large car. Overall we had a great time"

"Food was excellent and service in the restaurant very good. The overall ambience was very pleasant. Our room was disappointing. It was small with no seat other than the bed. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."

"A very comfortable hotel in a glorious location on the river at Fowey. Great river view from our room. Good continental breakfast with a paying option for a hot dish. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a great few days. There is limited hotel parking which needs to be pre-booked in advance otherwise you have to park in one of the 2 main carparks. There is a bus service from the top car park which is at the top of a steep hill."

We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. "We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel, could not fault it. We used the pool and spa facilities on both days of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will definitely be returning for another relaxing stay with you. 5* * 2 very small points - 1. the windows need a clean in the pool to see the most amazing view 2. A mattress topper on the two single beds (pushed together) to cover the join. "
