"If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."

"My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. Top Crowborough Hotel Reviews

Radisson RED London Gatwick Airport

8/10 Good

"Helpful staff"

The Charm Brighton Boutique Hotel and Spa

8/10 Good

"Family basement room was huge and perfect for our needs. Room very clean generally though did notice a stain on the carpet (looked like makeup) but very minor. Teas and biscuits all good. Coffee machine didn’t work but we didn’t ask staff for help as we had to leave very early- check in staff seemed friendly so am sure they would have sorted. We didn’t use other facilities but overall would definitely recommend. Great location and very comfortable and reasonable price"

Courtyard by Marriott London Gatwick Airport

8/10 Good

"Overall, our two-night stay was very good. Staff were pleasant and general upkeep of property is good. The bathroom could use a bit more detailed cleaning, as there were very unsightly spots of grout stains and mold in the shower area. Would stay at this property again as it is quite conveniently located within walking distance of Gatwick South Terminal."
