"We had such a fun and memorable stay at the Alaskan Sportsman’s Home. The taxidermy alone is worth the trip….it feels like a mini museum in the best way. Our kids were absolutely obsessed. They’re still talking about the brown bear and the mountain goat like they were housemates for the weekend.Beyond the wow factor, the house itself was spotless and incredibly well stocked. It truly had everything we needed and then some. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, and every little detail felt thoughtful and intentional.Communication was excellent from start to finish: clear, responsive, and kind.We’re so grateful for such a unique and comfortable place to stay. "It is not fancy and the television wasn't working the first night, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the views were stunning. We had a really yummy traditional breakfast for only $10 a plate which was our cheapest meal of the trip. We aren't picky We were just happy to be in Alaska "

"So cozy and cute. Perfect location right outside of the main section of Homer. Loved the creperie and our guest discount- our breakfast was delicious! Janet was very sweet and welcomed us when we arrived. Comfortable beds. We loved it and would stay here again. "

"Rented the king crab yurt. 1st time ever staying in a yurt and we had an awesome time. Very clean bathrooms/showers. Rained the whole time so we couldnt have a bon fire but we played cards in the yurt and had a blast. Thank you so much for the fun experience."
