"It is not fancy and the television wasn't working the first night, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the views were stunning. We had a really yummy traditional breakfast for only $10 a plate which was our cheapest meal of the trip. We aren't picky We were just happy to be in Alaska "

"Rented the king crab yurt. 1st time ever staying in a yurt and we had an awesome time. Very clean bathrooms/showers. Rained the whole time so we couldnt have a bon fire but we played cards in the yurt and had a blast. Thank you so much for the fun experience."

"We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. We didn’t have a car and the free shuttle doesn’t go out that far. So we had to use a taxi to go anywhere. "

"The lodge itself is very charming — the cabins have that cozy, rustic feel and the setting along the road to Exit Glacier is beautiful. It really feels like a peaceful getaway in the woods. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by how thin the walls are. We could hear absolutely everything going on in the cabin next door, and let’s just say it was not the kind of “wilderness sounds” we were hoping for. It made it very hard to get any sleep with all the noise and excitement coming through the walls. Overall, it’s a cute place in a great location, but soundproofing is a serious issue. Be prepared — you may end up hearing more than just the glacier river running by."

"Loved staying here!!! Beautiful area and yard, love being right by the river. Close to several tourist type activities, hiking, fishing, etc. Had everything we needed and then some."

"What a great spot to stay while exploring the Seward area! We had a feeling of being away from it all in a private mountain cabin and yet only 10 minutes to boat tours, helicopter dogsled tours, great restaurants, Alaska Sealife Center, and the harbor. It was wonderful coming back to use the sauna after being on the 6 hour boat tour to the glacier! We saw bald eagles as we sat on the deck! Perfect location! "
