"Family of 4, girls enjoyed the spa whilst the boys went swimming. Could do with a few more options but I believe there's plans to extend the spa area in the near future. Would recommend for a short break. Adjoining tea room serves great food during the day but no dinner service, with very nice service - highly recommended. "

"Lovely cottage with fields, birds and a donkey. The location is far enough out of town to give you country experience but close enough for convenience to shopping and major routes. The cottage was clean with all the amenities. "

"A lovely house to stay in but although it has everything you need, don't expect it to be super-lux and modern. However this is reflected in the very good value price. Robin Walker was a very good host and helped in any ways that were needed."

"We had a lovely stay. The property is very nice and well equipped. The only thing that irked us a little was that it was advertised online that there was a game console but when we arrived the controllers were missing. The owner informed us that they were probably stolen by previous visitors. It's a shame as our 4 year old would have really enjoyed it. "

"The property was very nice but the owner did not tell us he had an aggressive dog on the property before we arrived, knowing we were bringing our dog with us. He had his aggressive dog in a field opposite the property off lead and with no muzzle. When the owner's dog saw ours, which was on lead, he ran over at full speed, we were unable to get the dog back in the house. The result was 2 very bad bites on our dog’s back requiring veterinary treatment. The owner seemed unconcerned. Our dog will...

"Easy check in with the host! Gail made everything simple. Cottage was very clean and neat. It was quiet in the country lane. The pub across the street has good food and the people are friendly."

"This cottage is a real gem of a find. We had a lovely relaxing week in November in this impeccably renovated and decorated 200 year old cottage which has original features blended with all the modern comforts you could need including underfloor heating and a cosy stove for evenings around the fire. The cottage itself is set in the rolling County Down hills with glimpses of the Mourne Mountains in the distance on winding walks around the quiet roads. "We stayed from Monday through to Sunday; 2 adults, 12 years old daughter and 2 dogs. We had a thoroughly lovely stay here with quiet surrounds, fresh eggs for breakfast and loads of space for the dogs to run around. We spent a little time initially ensuring the dogs couldn't get out the huge garden because of the sheep and horses that live around you (and who add to the feeling of "being away from it all" ) and they were then free to enjoy their holiday too! "Great location right by the quay which is a 10/15 min walk to the titanic museum and a 5 min walk away from the cathedral quarter. Room it self was quite bare and had a few marks on the wall in the living room area. Missing the odd light bulb here and there in spot lights and lamps etc. "
