It was mostly clean. But for the price being paid, the care and hospitality provided was ungenerous. They wouldn't even give me the paper thin slippers without paying.

Short overnight stay

Great location in a quiet street with no access for vehicles. Hotel had no parking but there's plenty of car parks closeby. Self check in/out was easy and a member of staff on hand if you needed help. Room was very clean, beds comfy, toiletries and hairdryer, everything you need for a relaxing stay.stay. Central location meant shops, theatres, restaurants and public transport were a short walk from the hotel. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant which was nice enough but the service was very slow. Buffet breakfast weren't being refreshed and when you asked for anything it took so long that the rest of your food was cold. Everything was served on cold plates, which is my pet hate, both at breakfast and dinner. Why serve hot food on cold plates? All staff at the hotel were really nice and helpful and did their best. My only other gripe was there was no shaving/makeup mirror in the bathroom.

Well situated not far from Bath and allows dogs, staff were attentive and the room comfortable.

A really pleasant stay.
