Lovely small hotel in a great location with friendly staff and good service at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this hotel if exploring north Donegal
Although the weather was poor me and my husband had the best 2 days staying in this hotel the food was excellent and the staff where so nice even Sadie the housekeeper was so friendly and thoughtful would definitely recommend this hotel for couples and families as it’s warm and friendly atmosphere made our stay so worthwhile and we hope to return in the future would also like to point out the hotel is so central to everything from the famine village to Malin head for all to explore and beach is one of the best I’ve ever seen
Our stay ay McGrory's was very relaxing and enjoyable. There was a great buzz about the hotel. The staff were fantastic - incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The evening meal was really tasty and there was a great choice for breakfast.
A one night stay at McGrory's gave more enjoyment than a week's break at a big, lifeless hotel.
Had a fabulous two night stay in McGrory’s. Room was super and we had breakfast on the two mornings served by lovely polite staff. We had dinner twice and can throughly recommend the curry and birianni with chicken. Catlyn was a hoot and a great asset to your hotel, hope she’s still driving that van lol. Will be back. Thanks🍷
Lovely smallish hotel in the village centre close to the lovely beach, drinks are reasonable and the food is lovely, the wine list is expensive for what is on offer, lovely breakfast. Overall a lovely overnight weekend stay
Late check in all went great , room clean , bed comfortable, ate in restaurant one night- food very bland - got steak - overcooked and no seasoning- very disappointing- ended up getting a Chinese from the village which was tasty

Friendly and welcoming place
Cheryl on reception was amazing, so friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and the hotel was warm and inviting. Could do with a bit of upkeep in the en-suite bathroom but very clean and lovely atmosphere.
Very pleasant stay and staff helpful and attentive. Beds comfortable and food was lovely. Very much enjoyed our served at the table breakfast with a booked time slot. Evening meal was delicious with a large portion of hake and prawns for me and cod for the other half.
Will definitely be back but will ask for a room at the back of the hotel next time. Street traffic noise was quite disturbing but the hotel is on the main road in the town, so can't really be helped. Needed the windows open as the room is fairly compact and airless otherwise, which magnified the noise. Bathroom could do with a fan.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The food in the dining room was delicious and the service was excellent. There was a great choice of local produce. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. We will definitely visit again.
Amazing Place. Wonderfully friendly and welcoming people. Excellent food and comfort. The perfect location for exploring Donegal and Inishowen. Highly highly recommend!!!!!
Excellent small hotel. Food fabulous. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Beautiful part of the country. Beach is just a walk away. Room very clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to return.
Room was better than expected for 3star accomodation. Would have liked to sit outside for dinner but all outdoor tables reserved for non residents. Food good. Service good. Guinness good. Breakfast excellent and girls very attentive. Situated 1 mile from lovely clean beach.
Great short break at McGrory's. Hotel was full it did not appear busy. Great location for touring. Everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Highly recommended
Great stay..very friendly and comfortable hotel. Lovely food in the bar and nice atmosphere. Breakfast 1st class. Great location in culdaff. Highly recommend a stay and will definitely be back.
We had a lovely stay here. The room, while only of average size was extremely clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that we could not bring our drinks before or after dinner to the outdoor area...we felt being out doors would be a lot safer than indoors. Apparently this was to do with Garda regulations. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant.
Lovely old style hotel, by the side of the road but no noise issues, ten minutes walk from a beautiful beach. Lovely breakfast but dinner menu was limited
We loved our stay at McGrory’s , considering the challenging times that we are in, all was excellent. The staff weare lovely & friendly & couldn’t do enough for us, considering they had to wear masks all day, which is not easy. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends
Fantastic hotel. Friendly staff, excellent service. Room very comfortable and the food was also excellent. Very short walk to Culdaff Beach, which is stunning.
A bit of a weird stay given the restrictions currently in place, but it shows that McGrory's have put everything in place to ensure the safety of everyone.
We had a very enjoyable stay over New Years Eve and Day. The staff were very pleasant and always smiling even though it was very busy. Our room (102) was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The choice at breakfast was very good and it was cooked to order. There was plenty of parking in their car park across the road. I would highly recommend McGrorys to anyone visiting Donegal. The hotel was very good value.
Nice homely place, great bar, food was fine although menu a bit limited. Good warm place with multiple open fires making for great ambience. Bed was a standard double and not the most comfortable, room was quiet.
Fine Irish breakfast in the morning.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to offer us a review on your stay. We constantly check our prices against our competitors in the area and would consider ourselves to be fairly priced for the standard of food and service we offer. We are sorry you thought different, hopefully we will get a chance to welcome you back int the future.
Very homely and comfortable hotel, what made it was the staff, they are so friendly and obliging. With Culdaff Beach just over the road, it is a magical place to be. I would gladly go back 😃😁
