We enjoyed our stay. The bar has a great pub feel. Breakfast was delicious. We gave it 4 in Eco Friendly for thiae that travel that cannot mamage stairs.

Booked in for 2 nights and the view from the room was fantastic, could of sat and looked out all day ( room no.5) the bar is lovely and cosy and staff very relaxed and friendly

Maddens listened to our requests and fulfilled them to the T...from choice of room to choice of table for dinner to recommendations for drinks. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Excellent food

The food here is excellent, so it was great to be able to eat here. The access is separate from the bar which adds to the quietness. Parking was a bit hit or miss on the street, although there is a car park nearby.

I was unsure about this stay when I first saw it as it looked like a pub but was pleasantly surprised! The host was awesome and the room spacious, attractive and very clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent! Bathroom was tiny but well-appointed. E had a great nights rest and a beautiful view!

The weather was hot and no Air Conditioner, so we left the window open. There was a strong odor that made it hard for both of us to sleep. Also, on Expedia, we signed up for a full breakfast. When we arrived, the hotel said it had no record of our request for breakfast. We ate dinner at their restaurant. The food was good, However, it was the only restaurant that we found in Ireland that put a Mandatory Tip (10%) on the bill for our meal. Otherwise the property was quaint and comfortable. The staff was friendly.

Great Dinner and Room

Great stay in the guest house. Quiet clean room, nice bathrooms, well organized. More like a B&B as the staff is mostly running the pub and there's not a concierge or anything fancy. It's a fine place to stay though and on a great street with lots to do within walking distance (plus grocery stores, pharmacy, etc). The managers here do an especially great job and we're very helpful. We also ate dinner here and it was fantastic.
