"We thought we were getting a sleepy B and B type hotel. Could not have been more wrong! Very, very elegant with nice grounds and amenities. Probably the most beautiful hotel on our trip. The only negative I have to add was the breakfast buffet was limited and not very good. Otherwise, it’s in a fantastic location in walking distance to the castle, tons of shops, restaurants and pubs. Kilkenny is a beautiful town with awesome folks. Highly recommend!"
