"Woke up surrounded by bedbugs, luckily I hadn’t unpacked yet, I took photos and video and physically brought one of the bugs to the front desk in a tissue. Asked for a full refund and to leave immediately as I’m terribly allergic and wasn’t willing to take chances unpacking in another room. Full refund was denied, even though I was in need of finding an immediate last minute hotel replacement. Missed my tours for the day. Desk denied the presence of bugs OF COURSE — They then threatened to fine/sue me if I published this honest review with photographic evidence. Absolutely horrifying, ruined my trip. "

"The staff were great, helpful and friendly, inside the hotel the lobby and bar area are very modern and welcoming. The room and corridors are not as modern but still nice enough"

"Great staff Very warm welcome and attentive throughout the stay. Breakfast had a huge variety, always hot and never run out of anything. Very comfortable bed. Could do with a choice of pillows in there room. The sister pillows were also very soft. Yes some of the interior parts of the rooms could do with some TLC, but doesn't take away from a fantastic hotel, spa, golf course and restaurant. They had a large 21st party one night, but that didn't affect us, and could not be heard on the rooms. Little touches were brilliant, we stayed with a dog and they had door signs for the staff whether they could come in or not whilst the dog was in there. Also welcome flavoured water and Scottish Tablet Cannot wait to come back!"
