"Outstanding, would definitely go again. Staff are brilliant and provide a personal touch. The pool is superb, the breakfast is delicious, the scenery and grounds are amazing. Seriously I couldn’t fault a thing and would highly recommend."

"The location is exceptional. We had a great view of Edinburgh Castle from our window, and only a few minutes walk to all the best restaurants and shops on Grassmarket and Royal Mile. Definitely one of the best hotels in Edinburgh. We received a free coffee/tea voucher upon arrival, though it would've been nice to receive two since there were two of us staying in the room. Coffee is usually complimentary at other hotels of this level."

Unbelievable Virgin Experience

"This is my first experience with Virgin Hotels. I must say, it exceeded my expectation in every way. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a church suite room which was incredibly spacious, super comfortable and well appointed. I was particularly impressed with the eco friendly lighting and climate control experience. The unique branding and artwork is very apparent and appealing. I would highly recommend Virgin and this Edinburgh location was ideal. "
