"Staff were very helpful and friendly. One disappointment was that no house keeping was done in the room presumably because we had a 2 night stay . Any other hotel I have stayed in ( even lower priced ) have at least straightened the bed ,put out clean cups , maybe quick wipe of bathroom ."

"The hotel itself is looking a little tired in places, but the bedrooms have been tastefully redecorated and have everything you need - comfy bed, good bathroom with shower cubicle, hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, large smart TV, free WiFi and even an ironing board and iron. It wasn't an issue for me, but the lift to the third (attic) floor wasn't working, and it wouldn't have been fun to carry large, heavy suitcases up the narrow stairs. Breakfast was great - a good selection of hot and cold options. The hotel was very busy so we were asked to book in for a time slot for breakfast to help manage the numbers. This worked well though. I didn't use the pool, gym or spa facilities."

"Lovely inn with very comfortable and modern rooms. Loved the atmosphere in the pub and the location is great with easy walking access to the town and driving access to other beautiful parts of Scotland. We will definitely stay there again"
