"My wife and I loved this place. It was very charming and the staff were great. The food was excellent as we had dinner and breakfast. We had the small plates for dinner because the restaurant was booked full but our small plate dishes were excellent. Quite frankly I would have the small plates for dinner rather than a full dinner. I would definitely go back to this place and recommend to friends traveling to Scotland"

"The property was beautiful but a little of town. Very limited taxi/cabs available therefore one has to ensure that they are organized and pre-book transportation. The staff was extremely accommodating and very polite and helpful"

Never ate here this time but the food looked and smelt lovely. Very clean room with everything you need for a short break. Beds super comfy."

"Hotel needs updating… It feels very tired. My room was what looked like an old dilapidated shed in the back of the hotel. Room was as clean as possible… But rug looked ancient, side table was put together with plywood and a white tablecloth. Three very large dining rooms with absolutely nobody in them. Would not recommend staying here."
