"The cheval old town chambers are in an excellent location. Feels like a hotel, but with the luxury of having space. We travelled as a family of 5, so having some living space and separate bedrooms and bathrooms was ideal. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room looked onto a courtyard which made it nice and peaceful for a city centre location. The apartment was clean and well maintained. I was also surprised that it was serviced daily. Would recommend and would stay here again. "

"I had a wonderful stay at Eden Locke this past week! It is fantastically located near Princes Street for great shopping and also where there’s a great view of Edinburgh Castle on Castle Rock. The room came with some amazing touches like a sound machine to help get rest. We think one of the fuses was blown in our room but we were amazed at the amenities in our room like a 2-in-1 washer/dryer, Fridge, oven, stove, and more. The room was amazingly well maintained and comfy. We were able to check in...

"Good for what I needed for a night - in fact, got ‘upgraded’ to a 2 bedroom when I had originally booked a 1 bedroom - a studio would have been fine. While I was on the first floor, would definitely recommend bringing earplugs,I was between the car park and the front desk, as it was very loud with people yelling in the garage and people in the lobby. Other than that, had everything I needed - silverware and plate ware, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and clothing washer. Bed was comfy enough."

My fav hostel in Old Town

"Second time staying at CoDE and loved it again! Private and comfortable pod style dorms, clean and spacious bathrooms/showers, well equipped kitchen, and a great common area. The hostel also offers social events like walking tours, and whiskey and beer tastings (some free, some paid). Very well located right on the high street so it’s only a 5 min walk from Waverley and right in the action. "
