3 Star Hotels in New Town, Edinburgh

"Loved our stay here. Very convenient to everything- tram from the airport stopped right outside the door! Staff were great. Breakfast was good, with a great choice of food. The only issue we found was the floor creaked every time we walked on it. Can’t wait to go back. "

"Great proximity to everything with good views. Toiletries were lacking conditioner and lotion. Last two nights the room has a strong vinegar smell. Food was good, service was slow. "

"Placed a couple of roads back from Princes Street, this hotel was in a great position to walk to most tourist sights. The check in was quick and they held suitcases until the room was ready. The apartment was bigger than expected and really clean and modern, with everything provided for a short stay, including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer! Lovely to have a separate bedroom too. Staff were always friendly and the whole hotel was run very efficiently. There is a bar/cafe area in reception, which we did not use but looked very comfortable and welcoming. Had a great stay and would definitely go back if in Edinburgh again. Thank you"

"I didnt use the bar or breakfast facilities. My only issue was the fact the rooms are so spread out. The first room offered you had to use two different lifts to change floors to access it and walk through a rabbit warren of corridors. I have a sore knee so found the distance too far. I was moved to a closer room but this was still quite far away but did only need 1 lift to access it. When I asked why there is nothing on the website or when booking to explain as to why you need to access a different building I was told the room is only allocated the day before so it may not have been so. Still time to warn customers as I would not have stayed if I had known this."

"Very good location, in the city centre. However it was for my liking a little too crammed in. Even for one person a bit challenging. But I suppose this is what justifies the price in such a prime location. Maybe some more transparency on it being the size it is would help going forward."

"Helpful staff and room was clean and beds comfortable. The hotel is close to train station and main sights. Breakfast was very good. "
