The room was clean and generally tidy. Staff were consistently courteous, respectful and helpful. I am disappointed that sachets of tea, coffee and associated refreshments were non-existent. In the numerous hotels I have lived at through Asia, Europe and the UK I have never experienced such meanness

Wonderful location in the New Town, quiet part of the city, lovely character building . Plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby. Short walk to the more touristy spots. Staff were very helpful with any requests. Rooms were cosy.
