The location was excellent as it was clean, a 6 minute walk from the airport bus to the room, and an excellent location. About a 12 minute walk to most activities, and almost across the street from the Princes gardens.

Convenient Location but Dirty Room

Room didn’t look like it had been cleaned or vacuumed in a while. Only one towel for showering was provided when room was booked for two people. Security seems incredibly lax, they gave us baggage tickets but didn’t bother to check them when we picked up our luggage. Location was relatively convent.

The location of the hotel is ideal for sights and day trips from Edinburgh. Near lots of food, shops, attractions and transport. 30 mins from airport. Airlink near by. Breakfast isn’t included, at a fee but plenty of amazing food places to eat near by. I left a travel adapter in my room and when I realized right after check out, I called with no answer. When I returned to the hotel 4 days later the staff was unhelpful and rude, claimed they did not have the adapter before I described or showed them a picture. Only went to “check” the back room after my urging. Super unhelpful at check in as well. When I couldn’t do self check in because I have an international post code, the staff was annoyed at my asking for help with the process. Didn’t feel welcome.

Everything was fine about this hotel, the location, the price, the condition, the staff etc. The one thing that could have made it better was the quality of the wifi. It was really below average, very slow and disappointing. It's 2025, upgrade your wifi.
