"August city break "
Paid for an upgrade to a suite , well worth the money , had a a espresso machine on the kitchen area ! 😀 Waiters at breakfast were obliging , only 1 chef though , asked for veggie sausages , never came probably because he was run of his feet . Room wasn't cleaned till after 3 when we were in it and I asked the cleaner .

"Magnificent hotel. Felt like royalty"
Beautifully decorated. Those parts more recently updated have hard beds, but every room I saw was fabulous. Even took a video for friends! Staff is fabulous, restaurant superb. Fireplaces, leather couches, old time elegance with modern amenities. Bar and whiskey bar are charming.

"EXCELLENT "
Had a fantastic experience staying at this Hotel, I would definitely stay again. The staff were friendly enough, but the most impressive part was the family room, it was lovely spacious, and big.

"Lovely hotel "
We were lucky to get a last minute deal the day of checking in. Set in gorgeous grounds in an accessible location. Rooms were fabulous as were the changing rooms, swimming pool and spa facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful the only downside was opening times for the pool and restaurant (especially as we arrived late and ended up having a ham sandwich that cost £12). I would definitely stay again but for longer in order to get my money's worth from the facilities. The icing on the cake is that dogs were allowed in the rooms also.

"Handy for stations"
We booked this at a good price, very convenient andlovely reception. Unfortunately our room was quite small and a little tired, some missing veneer on the furniture and the information folder was very worn and shabby. Food was good and staff helpful. Ridiculously small lifts and one is shared wth staff. Although near the station we were not disturbed by any noise.

Great stay, friendly staff, great breakfast. Room ready from 12 so could check in earlier than stated. Room too cold when we arrived but soon rectified when we had got the hang of the air conditioning.
