What an exceptional stay this was. I stayed in a 4 star hotel in Lima afterwards that didn’t have the thoughtfulness and service as this one. Staff were super helpful, breakfast was delicious, the room had special touches, and was very clean. If I ever come back to Cusco, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Best stay in Cusco. The staff so friendly and helpful. Always going above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and help us out with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Fresh and cooked to order. Right in the middle of everything but extremely quiet and safe. Perfect place to stay in Cusco. We will definitely be back!

It was our stay here that made our trip to Cusco so memorable. The top floor room with the little outdoor patio was just perfect for our family of four with tweens (parents got the singles and kids shared the king size bed!) but it was the lovely hosts that made it such a positive experience. You'll love the location, the space, the hosts, the breakfast. We loved it!

Had 2 lovely stays at this property sandwiching our Inca Trail. The staff (owners) were super helpful, special mention to Johan. They helped us with everything we needed. Rooms were very clean. Location to everything was fantastic.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Cruz Verde and truly cannot recommend it enough! It felt like our home away from home throughout our travels in Peru. The service was beyond excellent, and we genuinely felt so well taken care of during our entire stay. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, especially with our early tour schedules, which we greatly appreciated. This is truly one of the hotels with the best service we have ever stayed at. If you are visiting Cusco, we highly recommend Casa Cruz Verde!

It's a family-run bed and breakfast place. Very helpful and friendly owner and staff and a decent breakfast with omelette and freshly made bread/juice. Room was large, clean and beds were comfortable. Our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator. So getting up and down can be challenging for people with mobility issues. The property compound gate is closed by 9-9:30 pm and you have to call/text the property for them to come and open the door for you. Hot water in the shower was intermittent and slow.

Very helpful and available staff, simple nutritious breakfast, magnificent view from loft room Cons: Bit noisy in night (likely due to gym across the street and the time of year - Jul end), loft room does not toilet papers to flush - using a trash can for the same wasn’t what we expected.

I don’t often write reviews, but we had a fantastic stay at Casa Cruz Verde and the father and son, Jose and John, who run it truly go above and beyond. We arrived to Cusco in the morning around 9:30am and were already welcomed in, lucky enough even to have a room ready. Jose greeted us with coca tea and recommendations on how to acclimate to the altitude. The hotel offers bagged breakfast to go for anyone leaving early for tours, which was very generous and included sandwiches, drinks, and snacks. In addition, they were able to hold our bags when we went on the Inca Trail for 4 nights, and delivered the bags to our new room when we arrived back in Cusco. I’d highly recommend Casa Cruz Verde for a comfortable, affordable, and beyond welcoming stay.

Such nice hosts and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are small but I was solo so it worked well for me. Had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Breakfast was good. Great location and very attentive staff.

This is a cute little place to stay in Cuzco. The best part was the staff; they were exceptional! Very professional, very friendly, and very helpful! This property is close to Cuzco’s Historic Center, for meals, shopping and sightseeing.
