Beautiful and charming, the perfect place to stay in Cusco. Staff was friendly and helpful with luggage storage and transportation, as well as recommendations. Breakfast was wonderful and all staff amazing. Great location within walking distance to the center of town. Loved our stay here

Lovely, old school design hotel with rooms set around an open courtyard. Comfortable beds, rooms were warm, staff very helpful and it included a delicious breakfast with cooked to order eggs. The hotel is ideally located a short walk from the main square. They kindly stored my large luggage when I went on a 3 day tour. Solo traveller, felt safe and would recommend!

This was a lovely hotel with a historical charm to the decor. Spacious rooms, modern amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again with my family with small kids. Less than 10min walk to the main plaza with the kids.

Charming and well located property within walking distance to almost everything a visitor would need. Our Junior Suite was a comfortable size for a lengthy stay in Cusco. Staff were helpful with booking private transport, accomodating early tour departures, and storing our luggage when needed. Breakfasts were tasty and varied, thought could have been served hotter. Drinking water, and hot water with tea options were made available daily, but ran out often. The onsite restaurant was rarely open for dinner during our visit, but there are many delicious food options close by.

I loved everything about the hotel the cleanliness, excellent staff, location, the breakfast. The only problem I had was the showering/ bathing situation. It was uncomfortable to use the in our room due to the lack of privacy. I am not sure if all rooms were set up this way. It would have been perfect if the bathtub/shoer had a door. Otherwise, everything else was great.

We stayed at Tambo for several non-consecutive nights with travel in-between. They held our luggage while we hiked four days on the Inca Trail and had a room ready for us upon our return, with our luggage already inside. The hotel was quiet and in a great location for exploring Cusco. I definitely recommend this hotel.
