"Cozy cabin - close to town. It suited our needs perfectly, two adults and puppy. It’s quite small yet comfortable and quiet with a kitchenette, fridge, A/C, TV, WiFi, bunk bed and a fold out couch. Nice porch in a wooded development, a few acres per house. Well water has an iron taste ( the host talks about this in the listing ) so we brought a Brita filter for drinking and brushing teeth. All we really did was sleep there as we were exploring Custer and all the things to do in the greater Black Hills area."

Rustic Rock Haven - Horses Welcome

Rustic Rock Haven - Horses Welcome

10/10 Excellent
"We LOVED our time in this cabin. Deb and Dave are lovely hosts. They have adorable pugs that came to visit every morning, as well as puppies and kittens! What's not to love about that!? The location is off the beaten path and so peaceful and beautiful with cattle out front, a friendly steer we nicknamed Doug, a 2 mile hiking path, and a field filled with Elk the night we arrived! The air conditioner is a box unit in the window over the sink, but it kept the cabin cool so long as we left it on when we left for the day. Super great location. Just a 15-20 minute drive to Sylvan Lake with easy access to 16A which gets you to Iron Mountain Road, as well as the Wildlife Loop. We really loved our stay and will miss that spot of heaven."

Cozy Camper down Wind Song: In the Black Hills

10/10 Excellent
"This is a beautifully maintained camper in a lovely, quiet corner of Custer--We really enjoyed the views from the fire circle out front, and the comfortable, spacious, clean interior of the camper. We think it has the best shower/bathroom situation we've ever seen in a camper. The kitchen/dining setup also works very well. We used both the back bedroom and the pull-out sofa and found both beds cozy and clean. Custer State Park was super crowded this time of year and it was so nice to be able to retreat to WindSong end of the day."
