"Looking in need of a good makeover, old carpets and tired looking. The mattress in our double room had springs you could constantly feel and a dip in the middle. There was also a frequent sound of running water like a drainpipe outside our room but it's wasn't raining. Pipes in other rooms running through ours?"

"This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. Google Maps doesn't pin the location precisely, so look for the sign. We also recommend Köz Turkish Restaurant for a fabulous evening meal, Cafe N Joy for a simple breakfast or lunch, and hiking the Motorway up Pen Y Fan."

"What a beautiful pet friendly property in a great location! Opposite a lovely park with greenery all around but just a 5-10 minute walk into the heart of the town with some great pubs, cafes and restaurants. Just a 10 minute drive and you’re into the national park with its stunning scenery and great walks. The house truly is in an ideal location!Amazing decor inside, like it had been styled by an interior designer! Well equipped with everything we needed, no shower, but 2 bath tubs, one of which felt very luxurious. Attentive host who messaged to make sure we had checked in ok and to let us know they were on hand should we need anything. Parking pretty much right outside the property which was very convenient. All in all a great stay in a great property!"

"The accommodation was spotlessly clean, cosy and modern. Everything we needed for a long weekend away, the welsh cakes and fresh milk we found on arrival were a fantastic welcome. The car park was a stones throw away and very reasonably priced. We will definitely book again."
