"Lovely studio, but 2 things to address:
1 - the shower is not powerful when the heat is turned up.
2- The bed is 2 singles joined together, it's on wheels, any movement and the bed just slides across the floor, maybe change the wheels to locking wheels, simple fix
But I'd definitely stay again, lovely little studio."
"Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. "
"This hotel is ok but pretty basic overall. Although clean, the room felt very tired. Staff aren’t really on hand late at night or in the morning. It was good value. "
"very clean and comfortable for the price, bathroom very nice, only complaint is there was no central heating so did get quite cold, but overall a pleasant stay."

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely grounds, lovely upstairs suite, excellent breakfast, great pool area, hot tub not as hot as expected. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay again. Suggest you indicate in advance if you have mobility issues, as we loved being upstairs but did not know in advance."
"We travelled late so arrived after dark. I hadn't read the Sat nav directions before leaving so unfortunately we got a little lost but staff at a nearby pub pointed us in the right direction. Well signposted but unlit at the driveway entrance and this would have really helped. Better signage on site would also be greatly appreciated. As I'm disabled your warning about the steep entrance steps and alternative ramp entry were greatly appreciated. We were met by the most wonderful receptionist whose friendly and helpful 'nothing too much trouble' manner set the scene for our stay. We were too late for our dinner reservation but the night staff provided some very welcome food in our room.
Our garden room exceeded expectations with the biggest bed I've ever seen and a super luxurious walkin shower. Perfect as I'm recovering from a broken leg at the moment. The room decor enhanced the experience with its relaxed yet sophisticated colour scheme. The choice of furniture and soft furnishings added to this relaxed sophistication and were extremely comfortable.
When ordered, room service was very prompt and when eating in the restaurant, they were very helpful providing our dessert and cheese course in room.
I was unable to use your well appointed gym on this trip but if it had been available, I would have appreciated the use of a pool or jacuzzi/sauna and think that a spa would be a great location for a spa..Hope to visit you all again very soon"
"Clean room with very helpful staff. Unfortunately I did not have breakfast due to my early starts.
The Wi-Fi was free easy to connect to.
Great value and very comfortable nights sleep."
"Nice room—small but adequate. Great beds! Shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was worth the $15. The location of the hotel was perfect. We walked to the castle, High Street and the Cardiff Market. Great restaurant choices and decent shopping within walking distance. We also had drinks and played games at the bar. Nice friendly sta"
"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It was conveniently situated for our needs.
There is no lift so if you struggle with stairs or mobility you may need to request a ground floor room"
"All the staff were very friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy.
If you were later than 09.00 am for breakfast, the choice was not so good than if you had turned up earlier, that was our feeling. The Saturday evening meal was not totally satisfactory because there was not enough staff and we booked a table at 20.30 but did not eat until 21.45. The server did his best but was over powered with the demands of trying to keep up with the orders. Maybe the kitchen staff were understaffed as well.
On Sunday morning breakfast we heard staff saying we have no more cutlery left .
If Saturday night is the busiest dining night, then adequate staff should be available.
We were very tolerant and could have made a big fuss and refused to pay for the service we received, however we felt sorry for the person involved who was trying to cope under difficult circumstances "
