Very nice hotel. Hotel hospitality exemplified by the man Mansour at the front desk. He was the only English speaking staff member there! I appreciated his service. Room was very comfortable. I tolerated warm water showers. Only downside was the restaurant. The restaurant staff were not very polite nor hospitable. The breakfast display and options leave so much more to be desired-not the greatest. Also those chairs in the lobby were better suited for a balcony not the reception area. All in all a relaxing stay but a higher price would be a tall order for this hotel

Staff very pleasant and professional. Fast check in, we arrived two hours early and with someone who is not feeling well, they understood and checked us in right away. Room was spacious and clean, no insects or stains. Will definitely return if needed

BOOK THIS HOTEL AT YOUR OWN RISK. When I got to the hotel, I was told that they did not have my confirmation and the hotel was full. I showed them my confirmation email, they were dismissive. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one was not available. The manager comes to work at a later time. I had to get online and find another hotel, plus pay for another taxi ride to the hotel. I have traveled to over 44 countries (IG: travelbyanymeans) and I’ve never experienced this.

Pros: Check in was super quick and easy. Front desk staff Khadijatou and Rokhiyya are very professional, efficient and kind. This place is very convenient for COVID testing that’s often needed for travels. I love the family rooms - spacious and clean Cons: Wifi is slow. Make sure you put do not disturb sign, otherwise you will get multiple knocks and entries by house keeping staff. House keeping seem to not know which room is occupied and don’t need prepping

Pros: very quick check in process and nice reception. Rooms are spacey and comfortable. Next to a COVID testing center in case you need that for travels. Cons: Wifi is slow and weak when we used it.

There is mosquito in the elevator and the lobby breakfast horrible the quality of service fare away from 4 stars hotel dust outside right on the door if you’re staying with someone you have to pay 5000FCF for an extra key it’s ridiculous oh I was good to forget no one will help or even care about you if you have heavy Luggage you do it on your own I really regret it

Personal Perspective of the Hotel
Staying in the hotel was an amazing experience. The room was clean, quiet and well maintained. The breakfast service was very good with exceptional friendly staff. The front desk staff was very helpful and professional. Overall the facility is a good place for relaxing even though it is located in a busy area.

The check in was slow, probably due to a disgruntled customer that was in front of us and the fact that there was only one person doing check ins. We had no one help with our luggage to our room. The room was super clean! But the bathroom very small. The location was inner city and conveniently close to stores, restaurants . WiFi was good. Nice experience overall.

First visit to Africa :D
This was my first trip to Africa and the country itself is overwhelmingly amazing, especially for an African American. The hotel itself wasn’t in the best location, as far as tourism is concerned, but the customer service and building was awesome. Everyone was so friendly, and a majority of them speak English, so it wasn’t intimidating. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. From the bartender who gave me a glass of ice late at night, to the housekeeper who came back to our room to clean after I took longer than expected getting dressed for the day lol, to the breakfast attendants who explained what every dish was, to the front desk agent who took a picture of us (for us), to the manager who called the covid testing clinic for us to verify what documents we needed to bring. I love these folks and plan on returning in the fall... thanks to you all!

Newer smaller hotel in Dakar
Very new smaller hotel in Dakar. Close to street but, no street noice. A grocery store a few doors away, safe for walking. Front desk helpful. They arranged for a driver for us and will take us to airport. We are staying here three times. Delicious breakfast, plenty of fruit And expresso coffee. Dinner is delicious and reasonable. We booked extra Large room With couch. It was worth the small extra charge. New bathroom, good strong shower, extra large bath towel, bidet, hairdryer. Everything works. Air conditioning, safe and Patio with chair. Owner on property.

Dakar is not a city to be mentioned as touristic, my inconveniences were more related to the city itself than connected to the hotel. The hotel is far from "Dakar downtown" but "conveniently" connected by bus - taxi can be used but traffic is just as terrible that... Experiencing the bus together with the locals was interesting, including its unconfortability. Hotel service and facilities are more than correct.

Difficult location to find
Nice enough hotel but the location is terrible. It was very difficult to explain to taxi drivers how to get to the hotel. Sometimes I had to even pay extra to convince taxis to deal with the terrible traffic in that area combined with the difficulty of finding it. There is construction going on right next door and the noises continue well into late night. The breakfast was decent. The Italian manager was at best rude and at worst racist. Every time I was talking to the front desk people, he would swoop in and talk over me as if I wasn’t there. The day I interrupted him and continued my conversation, he found a way to rack on extra charges to my bill. Would I stay here again. No

The hotel is very nice inside , the staff is freindly and helpfull. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. As a single women traveling in dakar I felt very safe. The hotel isn't in the most beautiful location but its close to everything and easy to get to
