"So obviously the location was our first purpose for booking let me tell you I have traveled for work and spent many of nights in hotels for business or pleasure I have met many staff members over the years, all the stuff that I ran into at this Best Western were excellent friendly, welcoming and very helpful when the times came I had an issue with the Expedia looking process and being disappointed and one of the staff members Napoleon without hesitation made one of my nights even more awesome than it already began and it had nothing to do with the company just the booking agent Expedia. Whomever manages this place and hires their employees as a small business owner myself and Prides myself in whom works for me and how they manage themselves I feel like this property owner and management team takes great pride versus just finding whomever they can off the streets to fill a void. Thank you Best Western Dana Point"

"Great place and very friendly/communicative manager. The house was clean and well maintained. The listing photos don’t show the seawall/stairs (lack thereof). I think it would be an important detail to have updated that the decking and stairs have been washed away with the tides so there is no beach access. At least as of the time of writing this review. It looked as though in December of 2025 the house was undergoing seawall repairs which closed it, then the King Tides hit the coastline and caused a lot of damage including at this property. I would reach out to the manager if looking to book here and see where things are at in the repairs. Once the repairs are made, I’d absolutely recommend and would love to stay again. Great size house for the price, clean, positive staff, and had the things needed for a good vacation."
